2014 Christmas Stampin' Up! Joyful Christmas

Case - Copy And Share Everything and that is why one should purchase the Stampin' Up! catalogues.  Today's project is cased from an old Stampin' up! holiday catalogue and focuses on the retired Stampin' Up! Christmas set "Joyful Christmas" a poinsettia with greetings.

Instructions
The cards are a square, the backing card, created out of Cherry Cobbler textured cardstock (now retired).
I embossed the poinsettia in embossing powder - pewter for the above example, on cherry cobbler card stock and then I cut out the image.
For this example I the used some watered down shimmer paint to add dimension to the centre petals.
The poinsettia is then adhered with dimensionals to a piece of embossed Whisper White, which was lightly sponged in a coordinating colour - the above example in Old Olive.
This assembly was then adhered to the cherry cobbler backing card with sticky strip.
The greetings were then added, the "merry" being a wafer thin die, run through the Big Shot machine and the "Christmas" a stamp.
The centre can be dressed with a button, embellishment of your choice, pearls or rhinestones...

Variations of this include using different embossing folders and colouring the pearls...

The gold leaves are the excess from the Y when the die punched out "Merry"...

Another combination, the powder embossing is done in gold...

Rhinestones and gold embossing powder were the features of these and I popped the centre petals with dimensionals to add dimension...

Oh how I love this set, even now.....
