Father's Day 2014

I believe Father's Day is a day to recognise Dad's contributions to the family and say thank you.  My team of A Crafty Cats came over for an afternoon and this is what they created given a background stamp, feature stamp focused in a window created with the use of the label die from the label die collection and the label die from the label swing card.

This card use Stampin' Up World Map (WM130342/CM130345) for the background and the camera from Stampin' Up! Traveler (WM134510/CM134513)...

The cards were created using a chosen tone of brown for the base card and a piece of Very Vanilla cut down to frame the stamping.  This gorgeous card was created by Suzie...

Some crafters added extras - these crustaceans are from the Stampin' Up! set Sea Street (WM133985/133988) with a hint of blue sponging around the punch out...

The backgrounds were distressed using ink on a sponge as was the focal point of the card.  The background was raised above the focal point using Stampin' Up! dimensionals, to add to the dimension of the card.

This card utilised the Stampin' Up! Hardwood background stamp...

These beautiful cards of appreciation were created at a workshop held in Waterford, Logan by a very dear friend Kathryn Free, who is now a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and a valued member of my "A Crafty Cat" team.

Happy crafting
love,
